Day 118. Roasting Marshmallows.

Last year sometime, my husband bought this firepit.  It has sat UNUSED on the back porch ever since.  I guess we just forget about it.  We had high hopes to break it out and the let the boys enjoy it... and last night, we finally did.  It was well worth it.  You can't tell by the photo, but these marshmallows are absolutely GINORMOUS!!!  Seriously.  We found them at Dierbergs, and my kiddos could not resist them.  I will say, however, the smaller (normal sized, large marshmallows) are tastier to roast.

This brought about an entire project for my husband.  He has spent a good portion of today redesigning part of our backyard, to make the firepit a permanent fixture.  :)  I suppose it's a little random, but he's on a mission, and I'm not about to stop his endeavors... because we'll all enjoy it, I'm certain of it!
