However, I feel a slight case of those after-Christmas-blues. I'm not really down, just kind of tired... uninspired... uncreative. I spent today washing and folding laundry, looking through school papers, cleaning dishes. Sometimes, those kinds of chores just don't inspire the imagination. Then, other days, they do! As for now, all I can think about is that I shouldn't have eaten the chocolate that I just did... and that I need to get my kids cleaned up and ready for bed. Maybe I'll think of something to take a picture of by then. :)

Well, this is what ya get for today. I remembered that my dear mother-in-law asked me to take a picture of the corner of the basement where we "cough"... reorganized. My camera was still on the "monochrome" setting from the other day, and I didn't bother to change it. So, here you are. (My mom will appreciate this, too. :)
This is it... my little nook of the house where all of my imagination is let out... my creativity unfolds... my outlet.... (I'm talking about my photography, in case you couldn't guess.) Doesn't look like much, does it? I have some plans to pretty it up a bit. But it's MY area. My sweet babies are not allowed on my computer. And for the most part, everything in this little corner belongs to ME. :) HOWEVER, I have no intention of actually USING that microwave. Other than the fact that it still works, I don't even know why we have it. :P Oh well.
Laura i AM really impressed. I have cleaned up our basement so many times over the years and it just gets in a mess again. The area you took the picture of the last time i saw it it just had alot of boxes, i really thought it was just stuff from moving in, where did it go? thats what i wish i could do just wave a magic wand and things would be gone. Good for you and as you tell the boys all the time GOOD JOB!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGeorge says that he liked the boxes there and will miss them. ;)
