True Love...

We are celebrating the birth of my youngest, sweet boy today.  I could never express in words, what it means to me, to be a mother.  I am so overjoyed with the blessings that God has bestowed upon me, in allowing me to to be the mommy of my three sons.  Are some days better than others?  Oh, yes.  :)  But in every stage, of each one of their individual lives and personalities, there is something new to be learned... a new way to watch them grow... an opportunity to teach and guide.  I cherish the moments.

Ah, memories.  :)  Funny that I was coloring my hair back then, to be the color his is naturally.  :)

And I can't let it go unsaid, that another birthday is celebrated in our home today... our eldest "dogger" (that's what my inlaws used to call their dogs... get it?  not a daughter... a dogger...  Hehee!  Anyway...) Here she is, our first dogger, the same week we brought her home to be part of our family:

Three Months Old.

Time flies when you're having fun!  Can't believe it has already been three months since this precious, little life graced us with his presence.  He's just getting cuter and cuter by the moment!  :)

Rainy Sunset.

On our way home from my son's cross country meet... This was our view.  Isn't it awesome when God shows off?  :)

More Seniors!

Little Miss Model

I thought I'd share a few more, just because they're too cute.  Isn't it funny how different siblings can be?  This little one just LOVES to have her picture taken (can you tell?)!  :)  "Aunt Laura, I think we should go over there, by the hay stacks... Aunt Laura, what do you think of this outfit?... Aunt Laura, maybe I should put my hands on my hips like this!"  While her big sister giggles bashfully, and tries to dart away from the camera before I'm even finished.  :)  I suppose the same could have been noticed about my own sister and myself when we were little.  I, of course, was the bashful one.  Haha!!  :)

And one more of Big Sis, because she's such a cutie herself, with that sweet smile!

More from the weekend...

Thought I'd post a few more from the weekend.  These are from a little five minute session before my mother-in-law went to her highschool reunion:

A few from our afternoon at the park:

Later, at Uncle Justin and Aunt Sam's house... hangin' out with Grandpa.

This would be me and Sam... the "out"laws (as Kettemans so delicately put it!).

The little pill... After I'd been running around their yard, doing pics of the family, (let me just tell you that when I'm doing a session, I'm working!  I'm running around, up and down off the ground, back and forth all over the place, sweating.  It's an UNpretty picture...), when my dear sister-in-law says:  "I would like one more... I don't think we have any of us together!"  HUH?  Oh, fine.  Well, here we are... Sam:  all prettied up, full makeup, hair freshly styled, all accessorized.  And then there's me: sweaty, no makeup, hair pulled back.  Good thing I'm not vain or anything.  Haha!!!

Uncle Justin's famous bonfires.  Roasted marshmallows on ginormous sticks.  The kids had a blast... although it was a miracle that the older boys didn't catch one another on fire.

Last but not least... a little something for my youngest brother.  He'll know exactly why:
